Kim Knievel | Jalapeno Pineapple IPA
6.2% ABV | 30 IBU
Calling all spicy pepper fans! This hazy IPA infused with jalapeno and pineapple has great balance (unlike SGB’s owner Kim on electric scooters!) and will bring both the heat and the sweet to the party (like SGB’s Kim!). Be adventurous like our own “Kim Knievel” and try one today, but maybe have a first aid kit waiting in the wings….
Highest Point | IPA
6.8% ABV | 57 IBU
American IPA at its finest. We use two fantastic IPA hops to create a unique and extremely drinkable concoction. We start with Chinook to give it a strong base bitterness and then we aggressively hop in the whirlpool with both Chinook and Galaxy to get a flavor balance of piney/dankness with tropical fruit, peach, and citrus. We then dry hop in the fermenter to increase the final aroma. We did not forget the malt as it provides a strong backbone that does not allow the hops to overpower the drinker. Enjoy!
**SGB Flagship Beer**
Kinnikinnick Kream | Cream Ale
5.2% ABV | 15 IBU
A clean, well-attenuated and flavorful ‘lawnmower-esque’ beer. Very drinkable and refreshing, similar to an American Lager, but with more character. Medium-low malt notes will be present along with a sweet corn-like aroma. Very light and crisp with a high refreshing level of carbonation.

Adios Pantalones | Mexican Lager

Adios, Pantalones is a refreshing and flavorful beer that captures the essence of Mexico's traditional lagers. Pouring a bright golden color with aromas of toasted malt, corn and a hint of lime that leads to a clean and crisp taste with a subtle sweetness. The use of traditional Mexican corn gives this beer a unique flavor profile, which is balanced by a gentle lime bitterness from the hops. Whether you're enjoying it on a hot summer day or pairing it with your favorite Mexican dish, remember - sometimes pants are optional!

Lake Series: Lake Augusta | Pistachio Cream Ale

The sweet pistachio essence creates a fun nutty/malty experience that may just remind you of your favorite fruit salad!
This is the 10th annual Lake Series beer, which is a different style and named after a different local lake each summer. For 2025, Lake Augusta has been selected! Around for a limited time, enjoy it while it lasts!
Peach, Please! | Peach Pie Sour
5% ABV | 3 IBU
A deliciously refreshing beer that offers a unique combination of tart and sweet flavors. The aroma is full of juicy peaches and a hint of pie crust, which immediately invites you in for a sip. Upon first taste, the tartness of the sour hits your tongue, followed by the sweetness of the peaches and finishes with a subtle hint of vanilla, reminiscent of a freshly baked peach pie. The mouthfeel is crisp and light, making it an easy-drinking beer that is perfect for a hot summer day. ***Contains Lactose***
Barnwood | ESB
5.6% ABV | 40 IBU
A traditional English Extra Special Bitter with distinctive caramel and biscuit notes. The UK Challenger and East Kent Golding hops provide a solid earthy/spicy/fruity bitterness that balances the malt backbone. English yeast contributes fruity esters to round out this refreshing style.
Nursing in Public | Milk Stout
4.5% ABV | 27 IBU
A dark, full-bodied, sweet, and slightly roasty ale that can taste almost like sweetened espresso. Known by many monikers through the years (sweet/milk/cream stout), the name is derived from the large amount of lactose (milk sugar) that is added during the brewing process. The use of lactose results in a high level of sweetness and a smooth silkiness in the finished beer.

Meet the Brewer
Jacob: Head Brewer and Co-owner
As our Head Brewer and Co Founder, Jacob is responsible for leading all production functions of our small batch 3.5BBL brewhouse. This includes recipe development, brewing operations, raw material procurement, yeast management, equipment management and quality control.
Jacob started brewing with a home kit way back in 2006. It appealed to his scientific nature and love of engineering. He was never one for “macro” lagers and was trying to make beer he couldn’t find in stores. We don’t call him The Waterboy (to his face), but his relentless focus on the quality of the water used is the base for all our brews. And Jacob’s favorite SGB beer? Any of the light lagers!
